The OG of Taiwanese foods in Seattle. Henry has been cooking authentic Taiwanese style dishes for more than 20 years. Go try his amazing creations before he retires. My personal favorites are stinky tofu and watermelon juice.

Off to the side from the Ave, this hidden restaurant offers some of the authentic Taiwanese/Chinese food. It is always packed with us Asians you know it must be good. Recommend going with someone that is familiar with the cuisine however as the menu is hard to navigate in English.

New location for Henry’s Taiwan. We’ve been to their old location years ago and enjoyed the food. We saw it last week when we drove by and stopped in today. Henry the owner is manning the front. We ordered a few dishes to share - the Taiwanese sausage is delicious. The beef noddles soup was good but the noodle was overcooked and not al dente. Given it’s only a couple of months old, maybe they are still working out the kinks. And the street is so clean compared to the past - no more homeless people roaming/camping in the front.

I have been going to Henry's on a weekly basis (both dine-in and order to go), always so good each time. I bring my own container now if I order to go. The owner is willing to make adjustments to accommodate special requests within reason. All very delicious. I love the beef noodle soup and braised pork on rice as well. The noodle has a good texture even if you order to go. I highly recommend this place. So glad he opens one here so I don't have to drive to Bellevue for Taiwanese food

My fiance and I went here, while we were enjoying the C-ID Food Walk. They have the best stinky tofu. Very fragrant, tender, and delicious with a yummy side of pickled cabbage. Initially we thought that we ordered just 1 order of the stinky tofu, but they made us 2 orders. When we paid for it, there was a bit of confusion, but we paid for the 2 orders. It was a happy accident for us because we love stinky tofu. I felt bad though cuz I wanted to tip, so I went back later after I broke our larger bills to leave a tip at the counter. Please don't sleep on this place. Great authentic Taiwanese food and easily the best stinky tofu in town! Just come here.
